CIBD Presidential Dinner and AGM 2026

On 14th September, the 2026 CIBD Presidential Dinner brought together members, colleagues and friends from across the brewing and distilling community at the historic Brewers’ Hall in London.

Deputy President Jaideep Chandrasekharan welcomed guests to the evening, recognising the heritage, expertise and people that make the industry special. He also took the opportunity to thank outgoing Trustees Bhavya Mandanna and Sandra Stelma for their contributions to the CIBD.

Honorary Treasurer Will Calvert reflected on the CIBD’s rich heritage and history, before President Raphaël Grisoni looked to the future, highlighting the importance of education and continuous professional development, alongside the Institute’s focus on supporting the next generation of brewing and distilling professionals.

The following day, the CIBD held its 3rd Annual General Meeting, where members elected Danielle Bekker, Martin Hayes and Stuart Watts as new Trustees. We are delighted to welcome them to the Board and look forward to working with them.
