    The quarterly Journal of the Institute of Brewing publishes original research from the malting, brewing, distilling and fermentation industries. The JiB receives an astonishing half a million hits a year on the web, which reflects the wealth of scientific papers relating to our industry.

    Universities, research institutes and industrial labs from around the world submit papers, which are reviewed by our International Editorial Board before publication. Requirements

Interest in brewing, distilling and allied professions. 

No requirement to do CPD or to follow CIBD professional code of conduct. 

No right to vote at Annual General Meetings, the right to stand for election as a trustee, and the use of post-nominals. 


Annual membership fee

Associate Membership fee is £150
