Brad Nolen from Hop Products Australia (HPA) will present the 2025 Hop Crop Report, sharing what’s new and what’s next in the world of hops. With 15 years in the craft beer industry—including roles at Gage Roads, Mash Brewing, and Pikes Beer Company—Brad brings a deep understanding of recipe design, quality management, and what brewers need from hop suppliers. He’s passionate about helping brewers discover the potential of Aussie, international, and advanced hop products through genuine, long-term partnerships.
Also on the night, Brightstar’s Head Brewer, Liam Taheny, will be running brewery tours. Liam has brewed at some of SA’s most respected breweries including Pikes, Little Bang, and Vale Ale—and now leads the charge at Brightstar, crafting clean, European-inspired lagers. Liam recently won two silver medals at the 2025 Australian International Beer Awards for Brightstar’s Italian Pils and Czech Pale Lager—the only two beers entered!
