Join us for CIBD NZ’s first local event in a long time, a relaxed evening of brewing insight, plant tours, and social connection!
After a long break, we're excited to relaunch CIBD events in New Zealand, starting with this energising evening of learning, networking, and fun!
We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction to the CIBD and what it means to be a part of this brewing community. We also want to hear from you, our members about what events, topics, and support you'd like to see going forward.
Next up is our Technical Presentation by Abbey Symes from Invita, exploring the science behind hop and malt extract compounds and how they can transform your beers. After the talk, we'll open up tours of The Pride, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the facility. If you'd like to join the tour, please bring PPE (safety shoes, high-vis, safety glasses).
We’ll round out the evening with light food and, of course, a few cold brews. This is a perfect chance to catch up with fellow brewers, share ideas, and enjoy a relaxed social vibe.
