THURSDAY, 14 August 2025

6:30pm - 9pm

Moorhouse’s Brewery Ltd.
250 Accrington Road,
Burnley,
Lancashire
BB11 5EN

Join us for a visit to the well-established Moorhouse’s Brewery founded in 1865, which is now also home to Squawk Brewing Co., a former Manchester-based brewery founded just over 10 years ago!

At first glance, it may seem like an unlikely partnership. But hear how this collaboration came about, how it’s working one year in, and what both breweries have gained from it.

Lee Williams, Managing Director of Moorhouse’s, will give a short introduction to the brewery’s current setup. This will be followed by a guided tour of both brew kits, led by Moorhouse’s Head Brewer Dan Casaru and Squawk’s Lead Brewer Tom Plant.

Please note the brewery tour involves stairs.

How to get there/parking:

The brewery car park has limited spaces, off road (free) parking available too to the left of the brewery. Nearest train station is Rose Grove (15 min walk) or Manchester Road (20 min walk)
