- For each entry, you’ll need to submit:
- 4 bottles of the same beer, labelled as a CIBD Homebrew Competition entry
- Your name and the beer style
- Entries must be submitted online via Humanitix (see “Enter the competition” below)

The CIBD Homebrew Competition returns for 2026 and will be hosted as part of the SIBA Indie Beer Scotland Festival, taking place across 26–27 June in Edinburgh.
If you’re a home or amateur brewer, this is your chance to get your beer in front of industry professionals and a festival crowd. Entries will be judged by both, giving you valuable feedback as well as the opportunity to stand out.
During the Friday evening and Saturday daytime sessions, attendees will taste and judge the entries, with winners announced on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday evening, all beers will be available to taste again, with the winners clearly highlighted.
