Join us for a technical visit exploring the importance of yeast in whisky production, with a guided tour of Kerry Bioscience Yeast Factory and a presentation at Diageo’s technical centre.

Please note: Delegates from other yeast manufacturers are unfortunately not eligible to attend this event.

The event will begin at Kerry, where attendees will receive an introductory talk about Kerry and an overview of the business, followed by a guided tour of the site.

Attendees will then walk to Diageo’s technical centre for a presentation on how Diageo’s Spirits Intelligence Platform can provide key insight into spirit maturation in the warehouse.

PPE requirements

  • Attendees should bring their own high-vis vest and steel toe-capped shoes.
  • Disposable PPE, including hair nets and paper lab coats, will be provided by Kerry.

Schedule:

  • 1PM - 1:3PM: Arrival at Kerry
  • 1:30PM - 3PM: Kerry Tour
  • 3PM - 3:30PM: Walk to Diageo
  • 3:30PM - 4PM: Diageo Presentation

Parking

  • Parking is available at Kerry, although car sharing is recommended due to limited spaces. Diageo’s technical centre is a short walk from Kerry, approximately 5 minutes.
