The Committee of the Irish Section of the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers is pleased to announce the 2027 Annual Dinner, which will be held at the Fairways Hotel (Dundalk) on Friday, 19 February 2027. If you are only attending the dinner, pre-dinner drinks will start at 7:00pm.

Before the dinner, a tour of O’Hara’s Brewery has been organised, with a bus departing from Fairways Hotel to O’Hara’s Brewery at 1:45pm, and back at 3:45pm to the hotel for the AGM beginning at 4pm.

As always, members are welcome to bring guests to the Annual Dinner. The Section is very keen for this event to be inclusive of all CIBD members in the Irish Section, as well as members from other Sections.

 

The full schedule:

  • 1:45pm – Bus Depart Fairways Hotel to O’Hara’s Brewery
  • 2pm – Safety Brief & O’Hara’s Brewery Tour
    (Safety footwear & High Vis Required)
  • 3:45pm – Bus Depart O’Hara’s Brewery Tour to Fairways Hotel.
  • 4pm – AGM at Fairways Hotel
  • 4pm – 7pm Relax, mingle, freshen up for dinner 
  • 7pm – Pre Dinner-Drinks
  • 8pm – Dinner
  • 9:15pm – Speeches
  • 9:40pm – Exam results
  • 10:20pm – Music
  • 00:30 – Finish
